Project: Bathroom Make-over

I just completed a bathroom project and would like to share the results with you. This was a plain, white, and tiny bathroom that has been transformed to a cozy, yet modern space.

Before: White walls and zero decor = a boring and cold space

We applied 2 coats of Benjamin Moore's Aura Bath & Spa paint in Hush AF-95 (2 quarts for $42). Aura is a water-based paint with low VOC's and low odor. It definetly did not smell as much as regular paint. It's a matte finish made for high moisture and humid areas, and it looks great.

Everything in the room was purchased at Marshalls, Ikea, Target, and Bed Bath & Beyond. We used an 84" long window panel with a grommet top as the shower curtain because the ceiling is very high and also to keep the shower curtain at the same eye level as the window. (A standard water-proof liner curtain is behind it on a separate rod.)
