Design Service Give-away!

Decorica is my blog dedicated to sharing my design projects, tips, and inspirations.  In addition to Decorica, I recently launched Erica LeBlanc Design.  And I'm so excited to announce that ELD is giving away a free Custom Kit design plan to a lucky Decorica reader.

A Custom Kit by Erica LeBlanc Design is an easy, quick, and affordable way to design a room via the internet. Each kit includes:
1. A detailed floor plan
2. Paint colors
3. Furniture & fabric suggestions
4. Selected area rugs
5. Ideas for window treatments
6. Accessories and final touches
These suggestions are based on the location, budget, style and needs of the individual client. Measurements, prices, and retailers are included for each item. Local shops and online/catalogue retailers are used for the products and fabric/finish samples are included whenever possible.

You get all of this information in a convenient kit which you can take with you when shopping when you're ready to decorate!  It's an easy step-by-step guide to help you decorate your home on your own.

Custom Kits are $275 per room - but you can win one for FREE.  Here's what you do to enter:

Comment below with a statement about your room and why you need a makeover via a free Custom Kit.  If you are the winner, you will need to send me photographs and a rough floor plan of your space with measurements.  (I can guide you through this process.)

  3. This is a great idea! I posted about it on my blog. I'm an Interior Decorator too. My path took me to sewing though. I can't wait to start helping people with their rooms too.

  4. We are about to completely redo our upstairs (literally ... wearing ripping the roof off and putting it back on farther up to create more room and redoing the layout a bit). I'd love some help with our master bedroom which has always been a thrown-together room to begin with, but it would be a shame to spend all this money reconfiguring the house to end up with the same bland bedroom.

  5. Great give-a-way!!!!

I am in the process of re-doing my living room, taking a break from painting as I type. I have my colors for my walls already and my curtains, but I have no idea on how I want it arranged or where to hang the things I have so far for my walls.

I also have a bathroom that has been taken down to the studs at the moment that I could use some suggestions on. I would be tickled pink if I won this give-a-way!!!!!

  6. I'd love some tips for my family room. It's long and narrow like a bowling alley. I love that it has a big screen TV for movie viewing, but I am stuck on how to accessorize. I like the clean simple look, but am afraid it looks boring. Sometimes someone else's eye can reveal the beauty of a room!

  7. I just found your blog today - you have some fantastic ideas! Thanks for sharing them!

My husband (and I, by association) has been in school for over a decade. We are now finished and gainfully employeed with a new house that is larger than our tiny apartment that we have shared all through school. We need some help decorating all the wide open spaces in our new home. :)

  8. What a great giveaway! I've been wanting to tackle our Living Room in our house that we purchased two years ago. But after having a little one born 8 weeks early, it seems that it has been put on hold, even though its the first thing you see when you walk into the house. I would love your help!!

  10. I just moved into a home with VERY high walls and open spaces and I have no idea what to do with it! Especially in my living room. Also the whole house is this red/gold color scheme and I am SICK to death of it. I'd like to start in the living room and work my way out from there. I have great furniture pieces I'm just not sure what to do with it all. Plus I have a 2 year old so I rarely have the time to just sit down and think about it but if I had a plan I know I could carry it out. Thanks for the cool giveaway!

  11. Hi

I came across your blog while I was looking for design ideas.

I've just bought a new house and the bank who owned it literally whitewashed everything so I have pretty much a blank canvas throughout.

I have no experience in home decorating at all and am totally design challenged :-)

I have a long skinny awkward room which I'd love to turn into a library.

However, it has 2 corner windows, an oval window, a niche, a walk through to the living room, a walk through to the kitchen, a boiler cupboard, the door to the garage, a arched cutout to the living room AND tile as well as carpet lol.

I am sure there is a way to get it how I want but I am no designer and just don't know where to start :-(

I'd love to win this and get some guidance and professional help.

  12. Hi Erica - nice to meet you!

My husband's home office could use some TLC. It's kind of the "catch-all" room for things that have no home.

I would love to be entered in your giveaway - some inspiration would be greatly appreciated!

  13. What a great blog you have! We are in the process of trying to brighten our bedroom. I want our bedroom to be a place where we enjoy going to bed and spending time with each other! It's so dark and drab now, that we just want to spend time on the couch!

    Thanks!

  15. We have this stupid loft space in our bedroom that we cannot find a use for. It is the size of a bedroom with 2 little window areas that are useless (so far!). Right now, it's just becoming an extra storage space, but I know there MUST be something we can do with it. Please help us turn our loft into a retreat!

~Married for almost 2 years and STILL don't know what to do with his old "bachelor room" aka storage room.
