Designer Tip: Wall Wonders

Take a look at this adorable yellow bedroom.  Two twin beds dressed in toile ruffled bedspreads makes for a cozy space.  But it's the tufted headboard that is so unique because it is also the wall.  It's a clever way to utilize a very difficult wall with eaves.  Also, the striped wallpaper applied to the walls and eaves gives the illusion of a much higher ceiling.  This is probably one of the most impressive ways to create the most impact in a small room that I've seen.  Adding an upholstered headboard is an instant way to add style to a bedroom.   Designed by:  Dragonfly Interiors.

  1. Awesome ideas. Like the height achieved with the vertical stripe running up the sloped wall and love the coziness of that upholstered wall!
