I prefer the lower slung arms of the darker arm chair. I'm a big fan of this classic chair design.
Hi Erica,Those are cool chairs. I love the vintage one. Go take a look of these 2 chairs I have to slipcover. I'll do them very straight and vintage/modren with the whole leg showing. No skirt, and no fru fru/cottage. I had covered them in paisley chenille. Pic looks shiny, but not at all, it's very soft. A family member got them FILTHY and full of smoke. Yellow! yuk. So I tore off the fabric and now they will be slipcovered. Anyway, I think you'll like them. (scroll to the bottom of the post.) I just stuck them in there at the bottom for you to see.Kellyhttp://www.muchtodowithnothing.com/2010/04/do-you-remember-these-thrift-store.html
I love the vintage mid-century chair. I would try to find another one and recover them in a ivory linen fabric and possibly add a funky lumbar pillow.
I love them both, but don't like the price of either. I know this doesn't help but, it had to be said :-) Please check craigslist first. PLEASE.
After consulting my checkbook, we will take the new version, thank you!!
I love the one from Urban Outfitters!
Urban for sure! The other is such a commitment to mid c.. maybe if it wasn't soooo mustard and in an updated fabric I'd like it better, it does have great lines!xo-julie
Two great options. I love the texture of tweed. Thanks for stopping by Odi et Amo! Love your blog.-Averill
Ooh, you changed your header, love the chandelier touch.I am also liking U.O.'s chair the most, it think cause of it's color and shape.^-^ oxox
I second the Craigslist suggestion! But I like things about both chairs.
Thanks for reading. What do you think?
