Sometimes, all you need is a lil' bit of color to brighten up the everyday outfit or to reinvigorate your room decor.

 

 

What's it Like Inside?

I saw this adorable and chic home exterior and wondered...what's it like on the inside?

How is it decorated? Is it cozy and quaint, or remodeled into a modern open floor plan?  Original hardwood floors, or new sleek   polished ebony planks?

This is how I envision the inside is like...

How about a family room with rustic wood touches and modern lines...

A little more modern in the bedroom, with a feminine touch...

Feminine Friday: Color Envy

Every now and then I love a room all done up in pink and floral.  This interior is such a fun mix of orange, yellow, and pink.  The walls and woodwork are kept white, which gives the eye a rest.  It's refreshing to see some light wood used for the occasional tables, as well as mixing this light wood with the dark legs.

I'd love to spend a day in this room, snuggled up in the window seat reading People or some other gossip magazine.

Manly Monday: Texture Rules

Every now and then a room just grabs me, and this was one.  I was quite taken with this manly room - the abundance of textures and warmth is inviting and interesting.  This room definitely says 'come and stay awhile' and that I would.

The Blues are Coming...

Shopping for the past few weeks has definitely made me jumpy for the upcoming Summer months.  Everywhere I turn I see blue and white, stripes, capri pants, sun dresses, and cute outdoor serving ware.  Makes me remember my dream to someday have a beach home which I'd fill with a classic nautical feel.

 

 

   

 What are you looking forward to most about Summer?

Faux Windows

Don't have gorgeous floor to ceiling windows? Fake it with a leaning mirror.  Get that window look with a large mirror with panes.  A dark frame will add great contrast against your walls, and will guarantee that the piece will be an eye catcher.
