Loving everything about this room....the color, the small picture above the bed, the lamp, mixing patterns and pillow shapes, and the shape of the headboard.  Perfection.  Would love to lay in this bed with a book.  I know, doesn't sound too exciting, but you probably get it, right?

Designer Tip: Towel Storage

This is fantastic.  It's the most clever storage solution I've seen in a long time.  The towels are easy to reach and look cool.  Plus, it's not taking up floor space.

You could always modify it to fit your needs;  hang all large baskets if you have a big family, or if it's just you one basket will do, or if you have a larger bathroom you could hang more than 3 and insert some decorative objects.

I have a lot of orange in my home and I love it.  Orange is warm, bold, contemporary, and even feminine.  Paired with neutrals like grey, it really stands out.  The curve and drama of this upholstered headboard is so cool, and made up in this fun orange makes it even better!

Feminine Friday: Darling Details

This room is refreshing.  The mix of light and dark wood is visually interesting, as is the marriage of modern lines (like the coffee table) and hints of traditional flair (fringed pillows, turned legs).  The wallpaper pattern is large, however the black and white prints with large white matting give the eye a rest.  The neutral color scheme lets all of the detail shine.
